There is no such thing as a truly hypoallergenic dog. While the American Hairless Terrier (hairless variety) has no coat and, as such, tends to carry less dander with them on a daily basis, the only TRULY hypoallergenic dog (for all people) that we know of are those of the ceramic variety. All living dogs produce dander, saliva and urine that carry the proteins that can cause allergic reactions. Fortunately, for many people, the AHT causes less reactions than most other breeds of dogs.
